EPISODE 113: Andy and Felix on auction season – Only Watch, Pink Dial and one very expensive Omega

It’s that time of the year when everyone starts talking about lots, hammer prices and buyers premiums — yep, Auction season. Many of the major houses all hold significant auctions in Geneva, along with some more special events. One such, being the Pink Dial Project, a charity auction put together by Revolution and supported by other media platforms and held on Eric Ku’s Loupe This platform. We chat about the $500k plus result and the surprising watch that pulled in $172K. We also catch up on the results of the star-studded Only Watch, another charity auction of unique pieces that saw five lots hammer in for more than one million francs, with the whole auction raising $32.1 USD. Then there are the less charitable lots, like a significant Dufour, and an early Omega that achieved an eye-watering record price. All this and more (G-Shock, sailcloth straps and GPHG analysis) in this week’s episode.

This episode is brought to you by G-Shock Australia. Tune in to Andy chatting up the vivid red GM2100B-4A, and why it reminds him of that classic RTS game, Command & Conquer. To learn more about this G-Shock, head to g-shockaustralia.com.au
